Biography

-Musician (guitarist) and songwriter in a somewhat popular progressive rock band named Siren's Echo.
-Puts on a face of being a good role model for fans. "Cool big sister" energy. Puts on a personality that is chill and amiable-- something closer to what she was like before a traumatic brain injury she received at 16.
-After she suffered the brain injury through a soccer accident, her temperament changed. She became depressed, bitter, lacked empathy for others (most noticeably, if a friend cried, she would always leave the room and avoid them), she became impatient, impulsive, and cold. She had always had many friends, but they left her once she began to lash out at them. By her 20s, she was able to hide this part of herself.
-Has always had a passion for music. In the past, it was because music made her feel less alone; when she was at a concert, she felt like her hearts were one with the musicians and the other concert-goers. She no longer feels that, but continues to pursue it in hopes that it might be what brings her back to her "old self."
-The only emotions she feels strongly are negative ones. Notably, anger and, upon meeting Pietà, anxiety. The other woman turns her into a paranoid, anxious wreck. Her biggest fear is losing her band--because she sees it as her ticket to her old self, and it's a crucial part of her identity. If her fans discover the secrets Pietà discovered about her, she feels she'll have nothing left to live for.
-Pietà discovers Augusta's real personality through discovering some old videos Augusta's ex-girlfriend secretly recorded and emailed to a friend (more details on how this was obtained in her section).
-Regarding the ex in question: when Augusta was 27, she got together with a 19-year-old fan. This girlfriend was one of the few people Augusta was close to who got to see her true nature. She was incredibly abusive, and her ex went from being a sweet, kind girl to becoming more like her. One example of her abuse: her girlfriend was very timid when it came to sex. She was inexperienced, and Augusta assured her she would wait until she was ready. She eventually got impatient, and would get her girlfriend blackout drunk in order to touch her. She did this a few times before being caught, and when that happened, she accused her girlfriend of leading her on and giving her false hope.
-Even though she despises it when others cry around her, she cries quite a bit herself. Usually, it's out of frustration or self-pity.
-When interacting with Pietà, she mostly speaks to her in the same manner she speaks with anyone else-- on a surface level. Actually, there is a very cold and bitter civility in their conversations, and her casual words are dripping with resentment and hostility that is no secret to either woman. When Pietà gets in the mood to play mindgames or act aggressively, then Augusta will fight back.
-Her opinion on Pietà: She despises her, but sometimes, also feels some relief at not needing to be a fake version of herself around someone. Pietà's mind games cause her to begin having panic attacks, which she's never struggled with. Even if she detests the other woman, she will still try to take advantage of her admiration for her if it benefits her.
-Other quirks: She has a dry sense of humor. She values material objects, and finds that the one good thing about Pietà is her willingness to buy her expensive gifts (like jewelry, clothes, watches-- she is not shy about making Pietà pay for things). She's almost always seen smoking tobacco.
